Our October headliner is the hilarious Ger Staunton (IRL).
Ger Staunton is “One of the best comedy writers in Ireland”, by ‘The International’ – Ireland’s longest running comedy clubs!
Originally from the West of Ireland, Staunton draws on stories, insights, anecdotes and characters from this unique part of the world and opens them up to a global audience. Years of experience on front of multicultural clubs and theatres have honed a style material which endears him to all races, backgrounds, ages and demographics.
Staunton is a regular headline act in Ireland, as well as being one of the most internationally travelled performers to emerge from the green isle. He regularly tours America, Europe, the UAE, Scandinavia, the UK, and since the return of live entertainment in 2021 he has also brought his shows as far as Iraq and India.
Since his first solo show in 2017, Staunton’s work ethic has seen him produce a brand new 1-hour of material every year. These shows are toured around Ireland, Europe, and as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland.
